The Women Empowerment (WE) program leads awareness raising, capacity building and networking activities to build effective regional cooperation between the relevant stakeholders to advance gender equality and women’s rights in all our project areas.

The most obvious reason for conservation is to protect wildlife and promote biodiversity. Protecting wildlife and preserving it for future generations also means that the animals we love don’t become a distant memory and we can maintain a healthy and functional ecosystem.

At CAI we look at saving lives of children, expectant (pregnant) women, elderly and other such health emergency in community. Depending on the individual patient's situation, care can range from nursing care to specialized medical services, such as laboratory workups.

Community-based saving is a microfinance model that is considered to be an effective method for financing projects and increase household income by getting the saving for loan to transact businesses. The basic objective of a community saving group is to encourage and create a saving culture in the community.

For only $40.00 per month, slightly more than a dollar a day, you can literally save the life of an orphan child in Uganda. In a place where there is no working welfare system, where tens of thousands of children live in child-headed families, where kids do hard, menial labor just to earn one meal a day.

WATER AND SANITATION PROGRAM (WSP) BUSINESS PROMOTION PROGRAM (BPP)

This program is important locally, and regionally, as issues around sanitation are long-standing problems in many African cities, especially in areas where informal settlements have grown rapidly. Rubanda is a substantial area within Kabale, Uganda, that has been suffering for decades from lack of both water and sanitation supply.

 At CAI we know the growth of well thought out local businesses is a great way to create employment and self-reliance. The gap is for business consultants, to help identify businesses that are different from the rest. Uganda’s economy is made up of the Agriculture 24.2%; Industry 25.5%; and Services 50.3% sectors. The Agricultural sector includes Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Crop sub-sectors.
